ZAMBOANGA CITY, ZAMBOANGA CITY Requirements:
Effective 12nn Dec 16, 2021 issuance of SPASS shall be UNRESTRICTED.
Applications shall still be mandatory but with AUTOMATIC APPROVAL.
Verification of the requirements will be made in all Points of Entry to the city at the airport at seaport or at land borders by health officials.
In view of the nationwide surge in COVID-19 cases driven by the Omicron variant, the Local IATF will impose the negative RT-PCR or Rapid Antigen requirement for all inbound travelers, regardless of vaccination status and the alert level of areas where they come from, effective January 16, 2022.
This, as the NIATF has placed Zamboanga City under Alert Level 3 status effective January 16 to 31, 2022.
The renewed implementation of the RT-PCR requirement will include all children, 0 to 17 years old.
RTPCR tests should be within 120 hours from the day of collection of specimen while the Rapid Antigen Test should be within 24 hours and taken from a DOH-accredited facility.
In addition, travelers will also be subjected to the free random Rapid Antigen Test conducted by the City Health Office at the city’s entry points – airport, seaport, Limpapa and Licomo borders.
